Music for Families with the San Francisco Symphony

Have you ever thought about what it takes to make music sing? This Music for Families concert explores famous melodies in orchestral music, like the “Ode to Joy” from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. Conductor Edwin Outwater and the San Francisco Symphony show you how the right performer can make them soar off the page. Get ready to pitch in with your vocal chords in a fun sing-along and kids-only Q&A about music.

Ticketholders receive a free activity guide and materials to enhance musical discovery at home, along with Hayes Valley neighborhood discounts your entire family can enjoy.

Recommended for ages 7 and older. Half price for ages 17 and under. Group discount not available.
