Bobby McFerrin performs Gershwin with the SF Symphony

Experience Bobby McFerrin’s groundbreaking vocal style and infectious love of music, live in concert. Famous for his song “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” and collaborations with artists such as Yo-Yo Ma and Chick Corea, the ten-time Grammy award winner returns to the San Francisco Symphony to perform the music of George Gershwin like you've never heard it before, including Rhapsody in Blue and selections from Porgy and Bess. Custom arrangements showcase Mr. McFerrin’s unbelievable talent for imaginative improvisation, created in collaboration with composer and pianist Gil Goldstein, and inspired by the music of Miles Davis.
