Tchaikovsky and Vivaldi
featuring SF Symphony Soloists

SFS Concertmaster Alexander Barantschik, Principal Second Violin Dan Carlson, and Principal Keyboard Robin Sutherland take center stage as soloists in a special concert with the Orchestra. Barantschik and Carlson lead the stormy Summer movement from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons and Tchaikovsky's Souvenir de Florence, inspired by the composer's trip to Italy. Then, Sutherland performs Bach's Keyboard Concerto No. 3 with radiant virtuosity, and Barantschik and Carlson share in Bach's delightful Concerto for Two Violins.
