THE SAN FRANCISCO SYMPHONY PRESENTS GREAT PERFORMERS
His survey of Beethoven sonatas at Davies Symphony Hall has left audiences standing and cheering. "There are many things to marvel at in the playing of pianist András Schiff," says the San Francisco Chronicle. For his second late Beethoven program, Schiff performs the penultimate sonata, No. 31. Sonatas by Haydn, Mozart, and Schubert complete the concert.
