MTT conducts Mahler’s Third Symphony - An Open Rehearsal

“All of nature speaks in it,” wrote Gustav Mahler of his Third Symphony, “telling deep secrets that one might guess only in a dream!” MTT and the Symphony reaffirm their standing among the world’s leading Mahler interpreters with the composer’s colossal six-movement creation, which transforms all creation into music.

Katharine Hanrahan Open Rehearsal is a working rehearsal. The pieces rehearsed are at the conductor’s discretion. The SF Girls' Chorus and the women of the SF Symphony Chorus do not appear on this Open Rehearsal concert.  View the full event.
