Music For Families with the San Francisco Symphony

Bring your family to hear the San Francisco Symphony in kid-sized classical concerts designed for families—great music, fascinating musical discoveries, and priceless memories. Music for Families concerts are engaging and fun, a great way to pass the Symphony magic from one generation to the next.

Discover one of the greatest symphonies ever written: Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, also known as the New World Symphony. Dvořák was inspired to write the New World Symphony after a visit to America. Like chapters in a book, each movement of this symphony tells part of a wonderful story. We’ll explain how a great composer transformed his experiences and impressions into an exciting musical masterpiece. Join us for a delightful afternoon of musical discovery with Donato Cabrera and the San Francisco Symphony!
