CONDUCTOR CHRISTIAN REIF LEADS THE SAN FRANCISCO SYMPHONY YOUTH ORCHESTRA IN MOZART, BARBER, AND DVOŘÁK ON SUNDAY, MARCH 5

SAN FRANCISCO, CA February 14 – The San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra (SFSYO) presents its second concert of the season on Sunday, March 5, performing Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8 in G Minor, Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 in C Major, Jupiter, and Barber’s Second Essay for Orchestra. Following their 2016-2017 season debut, their first performance under the direction of Resident Conductor and Wattis Foundation Music Director Christian Reifwhose performance was hailed by the San Francisco Chroincle as “dazzling” and possessed “a wonderful degree of artistic ambition and the level of execution to fulfill these goals.”
