I began singing when I was: I don’t remember not singing.

I was inspired to become a professional singer by: The Righteous Brothers' Greatest Hits, after hearing You’ve Lost that Lovin’ Feeling in Top Gun.
If I were not a professional singer, I might be: a super-competitive amateur baseball player.

My favorite composers are: Poulenc, Wagner, Britten

This season, I am really looking forward to: Missa Solemnis, Beethoven, Carmina Burana, Orff

Most memorable SFS performance: Magnificat, Monteverdi

When I’m not working, what I enjoy doing most is: following Cardinals baseball and KU basketball, discovering new beers

I recently read: The Count of Monte Cristo, Alexandre Dumás, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Gabriel García Márquez

Some of the more interesting music you’ll find on my CD player / on my iPod is: lots of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Led Zeppelin, and Cake

Favorite thing(s) to do in the Bay Area (and why): I love staying active by exploring the various parks and trails in the Bay Area.  I also really enjoy going out in the different neighborhoods and experiencing all the vibes the city has to offer.

Anything else you’d like to share? It has always been a goal of mine to perform and work in the arts in a large community.  So far, the Bay Area has been a great outlet for me and my experiences performing have been really enjoyable.
